On day one we learned about some core and basic concepts of physiology, talk about homeostasis and the mechanism trough which organisms try to maintain it. Also we reviewed some of the most important organelles also involved in the functional response to stress such as mitochondria, proteosome and ribosome among others. Also about the importance and characteristics of membranes, the transport of molecules through them and about important molecules involved in stress response. Also, developing computational skills, we start to use github, and learned useful commands to manage directories and files in terminal. Finally we learn how to use Iplant to visualized data and perform some analysis (In Apps: FAstQC) about data quality and assemble data using Trinity in Sage math cloud.
