So, here are some better alternatives that might help you:
scrcpy- Despite scrcpy being a command line tool, it has improved to provide various user experience improvements, which I would highly recommend you to try.QtScrcpy- This includes a user interface and its functionality should be close to guiscrcpy.
That said, guiscrcpy releases and sources will remain open. I will archive this repository, (unless we have interested maintainers). My current interests (in preferred programming language, UI design and implementation style) have strayed from the initial guiscrcpy release over time.
