Hi.
I'm sorry to hear the the change doesn't work for you, but it's relatively easy
to get back the old behavior:
* Open up Battery Indicator Pro
* Go to the Settings
* Go to 'Colors and Themes'
* Go to 'Get Plugins', which will either be a menu option or a '+' icon
* Scroll down and click on "Download Classic-1.0.0"
* Click on the download to install the plugin.
Then, back in the same 'Colors and Themes' settings in Battery Indicator, you
can choose the new theme and set up the colors however you like.
So it's not that bad, but it does take a minute or so, all told. Which is
exactly why I made the change. I don't doubt that the vast majority of ICS
users want the current default plugin which is much easier to see due to ICS
dimming and shrinking status bar icons. Now that that group is growing, it
seemed necessary to set things up to use better defaults.
One last question, if you have a minute: Are you using Ice Cream Sandwich
(Android 4.X) or Honeycomb (Android 3.X)?
I was a little on the fence about whether to include Honeycomb users in this
change, since the icons are dimmed but not shrunk. If there seems to be a
general feeling that Honeycomb users prefer the old icons, I can easily make
the change so that this only affects 4.0+.
