I feel a high degree of confidence that the cause isn't in my app, given the
very large number of devices it works on. I would suspect it might be
something in particular about the Evo 4G LTE, but a couple folks from Issue 174
use the app on that device, and I assume they would have mentioned if they were
having this issue. So at this point my assumption is that there is some other
app on your device that is interfering with the Battery Indicator service, even
if it's not billed as a "Task killer".

Suggested steps:

 1. It's unlikely to help, but worth trying. Uninstall Battery Indicator Pro, then go back to the Play store and reinstall it.

 2. If that doesn't help, I'd look through any apps you have installed that might conceivably have a task killer function: any system utility that bills itself as a performance enhancer, memory saver, etc. Sometimes backup apps or even file managers have a task killer built in. Try uninstalling any potential culprits to see if that resolves the issue.

If you're still having the issue after trying the above, let me know, and I'll
think about it more, but at the moment I can't think of anything else.

Well thank you anyway. I will look around the phone to see if there is a
potential conflict which may be affecting the app.
