Finally found work-around...
...I did all this in exactly this order:
1) Installed 1.3.1. on top of 1.3.0 - did not work
2) Rebooted phone after install - did not help.
3) Uninstalled 1.3.1 and re-installed it again - did not work
4) Installed old version 1.1.X (can't remember exactly which version) - that
version
worked
5) Re-installed 1.3.1 after 1.1.X - did not help
6) Re-installed 1.1.X again - worked
7) Re-booted phone and after this re-installed 1.3.1 - NOW IT WORKED WITH 1.3.1

It seems like the upgrade from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1 failed and that a reboot of the
phone
on 1.1.X was needed to clean that up...
...to allow installation of 1.3.1 properly...
