Alternatively we need to carefully document exactly what does and doesn't work.

https://github.com/srobo/docs/pull/446 will mitigate this somewhat. We're at the point where changing this could be more breaking than not doing so.

Given the proximity of the virtual competition we're not going to change this now. We might come back to this after the virtual competition to try to make the simulator more useful as a development tool.
