Error in API results #1118

On behalf of eKtobe: The API is not functioning again. Last time I checked, it looked like it was spitting out results in a kind of XML although FF was expecting JSON. Not sure if that's the reason. For questions, please reach out to the eKtobe team -- probably Cyril Masset on the dev side and André Binggeli on content/admin issues.

I can't give an example since Syriaca appears down at the moment.

Well, the prod site appears to still be down, so I'm getting a 504 error I suppose for that reason on, e.g., http://syriaca.org/api/search/placeName?q=edessa.

Dev seems to be up but for http://wwwb.library.vanderbilt.edu/api/search/placeName?q=edessa I get the following: "/exist/apps/srophe/404.html" Or does dev have a different API address?
