Testing the Search Functions (Homework) #905

Hi All, realized we might need a place to list issues we encounter or search tips. Please post here.

One issue similar to but separate from matching the diacritics, is the problem of searching in Roman characters for different vocalizations or transliteration systems. For example when the source text uses a "y" how should one search for it: "Gyln, convent of"

Same issue with "u"

In general I am feeling very confident about concluding there is no entry when searching using the following features:

  1. Advanced search limit to Place Name.
  2. Use wildcard after first part of the name.

Thus for "Hamimtha (hot Springs)" I used this search:
