Replace "ed" with "edRef" in milestone type elements.

@davidamichelson I know we talked about this (apparently a year ago!), but I don't remember why we were changing ed to edRef. Do you remember what this was about?

davidamichelson commented 6 years ago

@jedwardwalters I can't remember either but here is the distinction, can you point me to an example?

http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/ref-att.edition.html

ed¶ | (edition) supplies a sigil or other arbitrary identifier for the source edition in which the associated feature (for example, a page, column, or line break) occurs at this point in the text.

edRef¶ | (edition reference) provides a pointer to the source edition in which the associated feature (for example, a page, column, or line break) occurs at this point in the text.

@davidamichelson Sure, here's an example of where we use it: https://github.com/srophe/syriac-corpus/blob/master/data/tei/30.xml#L152

Thanks, I think that should be an @edRef since it includes a URI (and might even include a CTS URN in a future version).

Okay. This shouldn't be too difficult to replace across the corpus.
