Is it possible to hide video controls?

I need to hide all video controls of the video (volume, time, play, pause, 
etc.) - in other words, the strip at the bottom of the video.  Is this 
possible, and if so, what would the code be, and in which file would it go?

i couldn't get it to work during initial development.  that was a while ago.  
this project hasn't been getting a lot of attention lately.  however, i want to 
rebuild from the ground up, and i'll try again to make it work.

yes, look at Issue 1.. the same idea works for hiding video controls as well

I believe I fixed this in making an update tonight.  It was a simple URI 
parameter, controls=0.  Genius.  I'm closing this issue.  If I'm just fatigued 
and this isn't fixed, feel free to reopen.
