Offset setting not working #41

Hi

I am using Manta G235C camera with this driver. When I launch the mono_camera.launch, I am able to set values and see the effect for all the parameters in the launch file except x_offset and y_offset. Because of this my camera focus is shifted from the centre and I see the lens housing in the image. I tried changing the image width and height in the range 640X480 to 1280X720 (inclusive) but that did not give any result either. I think the launch file is not able to map x_offset and y_offset parameters to the correct camera variables. Can someone help?

Hi @PatronusCoder

I've also noticed this bug. In my case the crop settings became correctly after second launching. Try this

roslaunch my_package my_launch.launch
#Ctrl+C
roslaunch my_package my_launch.launch
prat33kg commented 5 years ago

@danil-tolkachev That did not work for me. Also I am getting frame status error when I view the image using rqt_image_view method. Are these two anyhow related?

@PatronusCoder could you please try #40? It may fix your problem with ROI settings.

I'm not sure, what happens when you use rqt_image_view. In my observation the similar problem (VmbFrameStatusIncomplete) can occur because of high (or moderate) CPU load. I don't know why.

@danil-tolkachev That solved the VmbFrameStatusIncomplete problem for me but unfortunately not the ROI settings issue.
