Thanks, this one is in the ABC Dictionary (as “①peaceful and stable ②rock steady”). I generally try to avoid adding words that are in ABC (as I really don't want to end up accidentally copying ABC, seeing as I manage the entries using Wenlin which is bundled with ABC), although we could still put this different definition into PD-English-Definitions.txt.

Incidentally Chinese does like to do “doubling” a lot (so for example 安安稳稳 is a “doubling” of 安稳)—I'd even go so far as to suggest coding a rule where if you see AABB and it's not in the dictionary, but there is a word AB in the dictionary, then the AABB is almost certainly going to mean "very AB" (where A and B are two different hanzi).

Might need to do that, mostly the doubling has almost the same meaning as the base word

I've yet to see that DeepL and Google would just say: 安安稳稳 see 安稳

or show the the doubled word have the same meaning as the base word. And sometimes, they give slightly different interpretation to the doubled word

DeepL 安稳 - peaceful 安安稳稳 - safe and sound

Google 安稳 - stable 安安稳稳 - stable and safe
