Ctrl+V not possible in "commands" textbox #381

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Copy some text
2. Try to insert it into the commands textbox by pressing Ctrl+V

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Text should be pasted, but it´s not. Workaround is to open the context menu
and to choose paste from there.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.0.4
Win 7, SP1

Hi,

Try using:

For paste:
SHIFT + INSERT

For copy:
Select in Terminal
or
CTRL + INSERT

Hi,
that would be a workaround, but I think most people (including me) are used to
Ctrl+V. And as you wrote "in terminal": I didn´t mean the terminal window, but
the textbox where you can execute a command in every opened terminal.

Will it be possible to add this feature back in SuperPutty? This is the only
thing preventing me from using later versions (I'm still stuck with 1.4.0.3
because CTRL + V works in that version). Most people are only familiar with
CTRL + V.
