Jim, the next version of CSPP Geo that is released, Version 1.2, will support FCI. The only caveat is that we have been working with the test data that we received, and hope that when the data is officially released, it will not have changed.
Thank you, Kathy!
Is there a timeline for the release of Version 1.2?
Take care.
Sincerely,
Jim
Thanks, do you mean you used the simulated data or the bit of real FCI data that was received? Also, will geo2grid support the higher resolution bands? (eg, the 1km 3.9 um band as well).

Jim, we are working on releasing the software in March.
I am pretty sure that Dave was working with the real FCI data that we got in house. I have not worked with it yet, but I am also pretty sure that it will support all bands. He works closely on Satpy with our European colleagues, and I am sure they support all bands.
Thank you for the information, Kathy!
Hope you have a nice weekend. ☺
Sincerely,
Jim
Do you know if there are plans afoot for Geo2grid to support imagery from the new FCI (Flexible Combined Imager, aboard Meteosat-12)? This would allow for RGBs, true color, etc.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jim
