Consider generating a maven repository, or find out the requirements for 
posting code to a more public/more visible maven repository.

This apparently will get it into central, and is free.

We need to insure that all of our poms include the required minimum information.

Completed.  Add a repository (whatever id you like, whatever name, url: 
http://www.genxdm.org/maven2/ ).
