Fix validation processor #64

Removal of <A>tom from many abstractions in the validation processor has left 
some breakage.  This needs to be fixed.  Note that the primary weirdness is 
associated with the identity constraint mess, which may just need to be cleaned 
up aggressively.

We can't reasonably work on this until the parser is working again.

seems to have been fixed back around when the validation tests were committed.
