There are lots of ways to do this. I would like a single bib file at the top level. It may be nice to have the references used in each chapter shown at the end of that chapter instead of one massive reference dump at the end of the document. It will probably be easiest to group them in the bib file alphabetically. That way I can quickly add them or see if they exist already. From a content standpoint, I'll manage them one chapter at a time.
I've been grabbing a lot of articles on inexact Newton methods. This should give some more ammunition for the nonlinear solvers chapter.
I am going with a single bib file for now in alphabetical order. The chapter drafts will show me where I am lacking in the literature.
I have read dozens of articles and books regarding the thesis work. This needs to be organized to better manage citations in the thesis work and to improve my background knowledge.
