It has been a number of years since I last used this so I don't know for sure, but I can't think of anything that would prevent it from working...

Are you getting an error when you try to install it? Or just it just not work as expected?

its because of the composer thingy, im not able to get it validate lets say i have a setup latest generation so php7/8 mariadb etc, so i really love that plugin, like there one on wordpress.org but i prefer your i use it for a long time.

Ok it looks like a dependency issue with wp_mock - I will push a fix shortly.

Just tagged 0.1.3 which should fix this issue.

If I have some time I might come back and make some further changes to modernize this plugin a bit...
