Unable to touch navigationItemButtonView #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a navigationItemButtonView in place of navigation button (Save)
2. Do some action and try a touch on the navigationItemButtonView
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The navigationItemButtonView performs the same action as a
navigationbutton's save button. When I try a touch, it doesn't do anything. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using the latest version on 3.0

Please provide any additional information below.
From what little I understand of the framework, I think it does not support
the navigationItemButtonView.
