Which device (manufacturer, type)?
LG Optimus G Pro
model: LG-E980

Which firmware is installed?
Android: 4.1.2
Baseband: APQ8064/MDM9X15M
Kernel: 3.4.0
Build: JZ054K
Software: E98010

What version of wireless tether are you using?
WiFi Tether- TrevE Mod
version wifi_tether_v3_3-pre2.apk ***EXPERIMENTAL***
Note: I have also installed the latest version from this site with the same
results described below.

Results:
WiFi Tether does not work on LG Optimus Pro G.
The test tablet detects the SSID; however, it cannot connect.
It tries to connect but fails with "saved"

FYI: I have successfully used older versions of WiFi Tether on HTC Vivid and
Motorolla Atrix to connect to the same test tablet.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. device profile: Generic ICS/JB (wlan0) -- should I use another profile?
2. Setup: Netd-Ndc(master)
3. Send Netd Max Client Cmd is checked
4. WiFi-driver reload checked
previously I have checked: WiFi-driver reload
previously I have checked one or even both at the same time
5. Routing Fix is checked
6. other settings defaulted. Currently, not even using encryption

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
WiFi Tether log shows "done" for all steps but Failed on "Enabling MSS
Clamping".

Please provide any additional information below.
I have also tried other settings without success. Please let me know if there
are settings that will work with LG Optimus G Pro

I am having the same issues except I get no error codes. The app tries to
connect, but reverts to save. Has this issue been resolved? If so how?
