Not working on HTC Wildfire #595

Which device (manufacturer, type)? HTC Wildfire

Which firmware is installed? 2.1-update1

What version of wireless tether are you using? 2.0.1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Wireless Tether
2. Try to connect to the network with my PC
3. Wait and the connection setup will fail

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect Wireless Tether to work. Currently, it broadcasts a network, but it 
won't let devices connect to it.

Please provide any additional information below.

The device is rooted by Unrevoked3.

If anyone needs more info on this issue, please tell me which logs would be 
helpful and I will attach; confirmed on all kernel variants for Wildfire so far.
