I have developed the X-FACEBOOK-PLATFORM authentication type, that will allow users to connect to Facebook Chat according with the official Facebook developers docs (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/chat/). I even developed an example page that will show how to use this new authentication type. It's really easy and works really great! I really hope you can integrate my code inside your master branch.
