Logging out of shared accounts regularly occurs #29

investigate possibiltiies but only if not too time consuming - could be session persistance/time-out etc - or because logged in as self and then go into shared account, then back into mycourse unit as self etc - worse on IE - can't seem to create folders within shared accounts here? If in same browser and go from myreferences into a unit and back again, takes you out of account.

Real issue for when putting up lots of reading lists within same unit - if using same browser, once you copy RSS and then search for unit and enter, and then go back to myreferences to get next RSS, has usually logged you out of the account.

AF, please can you also comment on what happens with this and where it occurs?

I have found that sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't log you out. If you're working in a unit page for any length of time then you can generally expect to have to log in again when you go back to myReferences.

If you're publishing a few folders back and forth you stay in.

Note to self - Need to investigate if this is caused by a timeout on the RefWorks end. If so it would make sense that after a timeout occurs, because there is no other information to go on, the user is just logged back in with their own a/c.

It may be hard to avoid this, although perhaps storing 'last used shared account' or something similar might provide a solution?
