RE to document local implementation procedures and test - github is vanillla but are all our settings in admin settings? Possibly not as can't get to work at the moment. Icon needs to be added into this procedure.
We tested the code on MyCourse beta on February 28th, 2014. The basics all seem to be working fine, although we picked up a bug relating to folders in shared accounts and some character encoding problems with imported data (new issues to be created). Responses to individual issues (#6, #9, #15, #16 and #64) have been added to those github issues.
Character encoding problems When pulling in data via CrossRef via the following DOIs, there were some character encoding problems. Is it possible to trap for these at all?
Page styling The multiple input boxes at the top of the 'Create Reference' page take up a lot of screen space. Would it be possible to streamline it - perhaps something a bit like this?
Re: Character encoding problems: I don't see any issues with the data pulled from those DOIs. Can you confirm which browser you are using and check if it works differently in other browsers you have available?
It shows on the reading list itself rather than within myreferences - the coding looks ok on entry and then we discover it when we load the reading list

Can you let me know the relevant RSS feed address and I'll see if I can recreate the issue at this end. Thanks
Re: Page Styling Yes - this would definitely be possible - I'll make this change
Have created #72 and #73 to track Search page styling and Char encoding issues separately
Need to get servers sorted (RE), then test and send comments to Owen - Hannah and Julie
