Arrows/annotations incorrectly placed with Word/Aurora #17

I tried using Aurora to insert the beautified formula into Word, and all functions can be implemented. But there seems to be some issues with the arrow and direction of the annotation. Aurora

Hi @William-Li-cy, thanks for your interest in my package. I'm afraid I don't know anything about Aurora- can you explain in more detail what you did?

William-Li-cy commented 1 year ago

Thank you for providing such a fantastic package! This error may not be a package issue, it may be a bug in Aurora, but I still hope to be able to use this beautification plugin in Microsoft Office. Aurora is a plugin that allows you to insert formulas or tables in Microsoft Office using Latex syntax. After installing Aurora and miktex software, you can insert text using Aurora as an object in Word. It can import packages and write Latex code as shown in the following figure. 20210430174619477 20210430175627517 But I don't know exactly how this software works.

Hm, one issue might be that TikZ requires multiple passes to get the arrows in the right place. Is there any option to say "run miktex twice" or something like that?

The other issue might be related to https://github.com/st--/annotate-equations/issues/12 - can you try wrapping the equation + annotation inside a minipage environment?

William-Li-cy commented 1 year ago

The need to run miktex twice may be the cause of this bug, but Aurora uses the Refresh button to update the formula in the office, and repeated clicks have no effect. At present, there are only some issues with the position and format of the arrows, and all other functions are normal.

Can you share the full code that you're putting into Aurora?

William-Li-cy commented 1 year ago

In fact, I did not modify any code, only used the first example of Simple annotations in PDF. Snipaste_2023-06-07_12-46-25 Snipaste_2023-06-07_12-45-29

This does look like the plugin might not run LaTeX twice (which is needed to get the TikZ overlay with the annotation and arrow in the right place)... can you get in touch with the Aurora plugin authors and see if they can comment on that?
