I like the idea that you stated a very specific hypothesis in terms of which groups are more likely to be killed by police, but several questions to consider: How will you carry out statistical hypothesis testing to verify your stated hypothesis? Think about if you need to perform 4 different testings for gender, age, race and state separately or can you do it all at once?
