Summary

This user story aims to enhance the StackSpot AI user experience by providing an option to reuse content from previous sessions when opening a new chat or an old conversation. A prompt box will appear, asking users if they want to use the content from the last tab or the last interaction with a specific conversation. This feature helps maintain consistency and saves time, improving the overall user experience.


Intended Outcome

The successful implementation of this feature will result in several key outcomes:

  1. Improved Efficiency: Users can quickly continue their work with the same content settings, reducing the time spent on setup.
  2. Consistency in Interactions: Users can maintain consistency in their interactions by reusing previously selected content.
  3. User-Friendly Prompts: Intuitive and non-intrusive prompts will enhance the overall user experience.
  4. Seamless Interaction: The prompt box will not interfere with the user's ability to start a conversation, ensuring a smooth interaction.

New chat: When the user starts a new chat, we will offer the option to continue with the previously selected content. If the user clicks no or writes directly in the chat, the previous content will be ignored. If the user clicks yes, the content will be applied directly to the input field.
