Our customers have informed us that the "Account" menu within the EDP is causing confusion and hindering platform administration. After user research and testing, we have identified an opportunity to significantly improve the experience in this domain.
Intended Outcome
Our proposal is to create a new, dedicated domain for account management, account.stackspot.com, which will follow the StackSpot Design System and offer a simplified and intuitive navigation.
When clicking on the profile picture in the EDP or AI, the user will have access to a menu with two main options:
My Profile
Organization (visible only to users with permission)
By selecting either of these options, the user will be redirected to the new account.stackspot.com domain, where they will find a sidebar menu focused on administration.
How It Will Work
My Profile
In this section, the user will be able to view all relevant information about their account, including roles, permission groups, and the resources they have access to. Our goal is to provide a central point for users to manage their personal data and settings.
Organization
Here, users with permission will be able to access the main configurations of their organization, organized in an intuitive manner:
Products: Overview and quick access to the EDP, Cloud Service, and AI products.
Identity & Security: Control of SSO, Event History, and Service Credentials.
Access Management: User administration, permission groups, and roles/permissions.
This reorganization aims to facilitate the localization and management of essential information, improving the efficiency and productivity of administrators.
