Can't run basic commands #2606

Open djeffc opened 2 hours ago

Describe the bug

Having difficulties running basic commands the last couple of days.

Command failed npm install

Command failed npm run dev

I keep pressing the fix button and sometimes it goes away but it always comes back. I've spent over 3 million tokens and I can't even get a simple upload button to work. I'm a newb to web dev but program in M and DAX and VBA for a living.

Steps to reproduce

The AI chat bot is no longer able to fix things it was handling for the first week. I think I may have screwed it up by using the terminal to fix things myself using chatgpt-mini to analyze problems as well. If you could reset my environment to the default that might help. I finally gave up and started a fresh project on bolt (https://bolt.new/~/sb1-arvmsq) and it's been nothing but problems since the get go. It's as if the first one is corrupting the new one. Same inability to run basis commands over and over. Tool like 10 attempts just to get the preview screen to appear the first time.

Expected behavior

I want to be able to upload my digital products so I can sell them but we can't even get that far. We created an "Upload Add-in" button and it's either a 404 or 500 error over and over. Bolt chat can't even generate a claim link for me to claim it in netlify anymore. I've tried like 10x today and it keeps saying it generated it but it's not there.

Screen Recording / Screenshot

The first few days were productive but certain errors just keep coming back now

[0] vite exited with code SIGINT [1] npm run dev:server exited with code SIGINT npm ERR! code EIO npm ERR! syscall write npm ERR! errno -5 npm ERR! EIO: i/o error, write

and this one:

Additional context

No response

Wouldn't you know it, my very next attempt after making this ticket returned a positive response in the preview:

Upload Log [4:04:33 PM] Selected file: excel-colour-picker.xlam (14.54 KB) [4:04:36 PM] Starting upload process... [4:04:36 PM] File converted to Base64 [4:04:36 PM] File received successfully

I'm going to try and roll it over to netlify now and see if it really works.
