Why is it giving this error?

Your sample has some missing things:

in styles.scss you import libraries you need to install like "material-components-web", other libs e.g. for the typo I am not sure if they exists (you can debug this by uncommenting lines or the whole file)
you have this ng-cli-pug-loader includes. for this you needd to create files like feed.component.pug.html
and you need to install all the other missing dependencies
