"Additional step required" when opening new tab from learn.svelte.dev

(This is arguably more of a bug report than a feature request, but this doesn't really fit into the bug report template.)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe: We just added an 'open in new tab' button to learn.svelte.dev:

As you can see it works great in Chrome. In Firefox, however, we see this:

The 'connect to project' button doesn't work, because there's no StackBlitz project to connect to.

Describe the solution you'd like:

Absolutely no idea!

Hi @Rich-Harris! Sorry for the late response!

We are planning to talk in details about why you are seeing this in a future blog post. For now, all I can say is that:

Previews in separate tabs have never worked in Firefox or Safari.
They now work but only for our classic editor and CodeFlow and users have to press a button.
They will eventually work when used through @webcontainer/api but we don't know exactly how this will work (there are several technical issue to be solved first).

I encountered this issue in Chrome version 117 as well, but I was able to access it normally when I rolled back to version 112.
