Using the Ceph exporter, we scrape three Ceph MGR endpoints. However, only one is active and returning data. The other two endpoints return no data when scraped.
When Monasca prometheusv2 receives no data, but has metric transformations to apply, it logs a warning of this form:
monasca_agent.collector.checks.check.prometheusv2(prometheusv2.py:172) | Could not look up type for metric ceph_cluster_total_used_bytes. Does the metric exist?
However, this is normal behaviour in these circumstances.
