Improve status page for Maker Portal #542

Open stackatron opened 5 years ago

Suggest using the same App Mining [Ready] language and visual on https://app.co/mining/apps

And update the functionality that governs that state to account for the new data we collect.

Is this part of the issue required for launch of the Maker Portal?

update the functionality that governs that state to account for the new data we collect.

I suspect that if we don't do that in time for launch, then the information on the App Mining page will be wrong?

Though do we want to give a grace period of sorts for developers to submit STX addresses, etc. before we display them as ineligible in a public way?

Definitely not required. Just an idea.

We already do. They would be displayed here: https://app.co/mining/apps - I'm suggesting we should also display this same info on their portal.

@hstove Has there been a change to staging as a result of this issue? I'm not sure what to review.

Nevermind, I see the new tab here:

One thing I noticed is that if I save other tabs (e.g. "Payment Details") then the info on this status screen doesn't update until I do a hard refresh. Could we ensure that it updates without that?

Also, can we make the positive checkmarks green or something and the "x" negative ones red so they stand out from each other better?

Let's capitalize "App Mining" in the guidance text as well ("It looks like we still need to collect some more information before you can participate in app mining.")

And can we link each of these status items to their relevant tabs so the user can easily reference them for completion?

@hstove I'm moving this back to the icebox, assuming that the improvements to the status page suggested in my last comment aren't in progress.
