1) Total grant amount: $1575

2) Project Description: Zero to Clarity. Many entrepreneurs come to the community with ideas for their product but are reluctant to start playing with smart contracts because they may be intimated or don't know where to begin. I aim to serve as a mentor who provides them with a starting point to Clarity smart contracts and the entire Stacks ecosystem. I plan to develop a space for cultivating Clarity focused mentors.

Mentorship Strategy:

Every odd day on weekday Morning on X - Who needs help with Clarity today? Every even day on weekday Morning on X - Who wants to be a Clarity Dev Mentor? The above two points will help me do the following: What does it mean to be a good mentor on STX? Create a list of developers who can support incoming engineers Make that list public Assign each mentor up to 3 mentees Create framework to have Mentors Make sure there is someone in DeGrants to answer questions during specific times per week. Have a weekly mentorship call/Mentor catch-up? How/What can we do better?

3) Impact:

Lowering Barriers to Entry:
- Provide an accessible starting point for newcomers to Clarity smart contracts and the Stacks ecosystem.
- Reduce the learning curve for blockchain development, attracting more developers to the platform.
Accelerating Developer Onboarding:
- Guide developers from zero knowledge to deploying their first smart contract in just three months.
- Streamline the learning process with bite-sized, focused content.
Expanding the Developer Pool:
- Increase the number of active developers in the STX ecosystem.
- Diversify the developer base by making content accessible to those with time constraints.
Enhancing Ecosystem Growth:
- Stimulate the creation of new STX-based applications and projects.
- Foster innovation by providing developers with the tools to quickly implement their ideas.
Fostering Community Engagement:
- Create a shared resource that can spark discussions and collaborations among developers.
- Encourage peer-to-peer learning by providing a common foundation of knowledge.

Milestone 3: 33% - $525 - October 31st, 2024

Month 3:

Create 3 short videos about the following: Working with an IDE & Installing Dependencies Writing the smart contract Deploying the Contract

Month 1 Update:

Put together a DM group on X for "Zero to Clarity". Currently have 50 members and growing. A great way to chat about the latest in Clarity, meet those who are learning and provide resources.
Took part in multiple spaces with @GoodKitty, @PeaceLoveMusic, and Leather Lounge where we've spoken about the Zero to Clarity program.
Created 3 short-form videos to help learn Clarity in a fun and simple way, shared it on X and received likes and reshares.
Hosted 3 official classes including 1 on X via Spaces, 2 on Google meet.
Put together a presentation that's easy to grasp for those who are new to Clarity. The presentation continues to evolve as we go add relevant content.
Pushed and updated GitHub code where our smart contract code is open-source to public for review.
Put classes on official Stacks calendar to make them available to broader eco-system.

Please Note: I decided to slow down on the video creation because of the time commitment involved. Preparing for classes and providing support/answering DMs takes up time on its own and I thought that for now it would be best to lower the amount of videos created.

Zero to Clarity DM Group has gained another 16 members who are looking to learn Clarity.
Took part in 3 separate spaces where Zero to Clarity was discussed with the Community.
Hosted 3 official real-time classes on Google Meet
Continue to add educational materials to public Canva presentation and added a Security section and guidelines after a recent charisma protocol hack impacted the community.
Pushed and updated GitHub code where our smart contract code is open-source to public for review.
All meeting videos are recorded and publicly available

Added new members to our Clarity DM Group. Hosted 3 official real-time classes on Google Meet Added final educational materials to public Canva presentation including the Testing, Deployment of smart contracts and then learning the front-end javascript that allows us to connect our app to our smart contract.
