Audiobox is a web app built on Stacks, the Bitcoin Layer 2 blockchain, combining music streaming like Spotify with TikTok-style video streaming to engage users. The app uses a subscription model and a credit system called "stars" for collecting music tracks or NFTs. Progress Overview

Audiobox continues to make significant progress in developing a platform that reimagines the relationship between musicians and superfans. We have successfully completed Milestones 1 and 2 and are currently working on Milestone 3, which is progressing well but will require an additional week to ensure it meets our quality standards.

Milestone 1: Branding Guide ✅ Completed

•   Due Date: August 31, 2024
•   Status: Complete
•   Payment: $500 (pending)
•   Description: A comprehensive branding guide has been developed to establish the visual and thematic identity of Audiobox.

Milestone 2: Design System in Figma ✅ Completed

•   Due Date: September 15, 2024
•   Status: Complete
•   Payment: $1,200 (pending)
•   Description: The design system in Figma has been successfully developed.

This includes:

•   A high level component library based on open-source material
•   UI elements such as buttons, form inputs, and navigation components
•   Typography and color schemes that align with our brand identity
•   Interactive guidelines to ensure consistency across the platform

This design system will serve as the foundation for all future design work, enabling us to maintain consistency and efficiency as we continue building Audiobox.

Milestone 3: Interactive Prototype in Figma 🚧 In Progress

•   Due Date: September 30, 2024 (Updated Deadline: October 7, 2024)
•   Payment: $1,000 (pending upon completion)
•   Description: The interactive prototype is currently in development, showcasing the platform’s functionality and user interface. This prototype will provide a comprehensive, clickable experience, demonstrating how Audiobox will operate.

Note: We anticipate needing an additional week to ensure the prototype meets our quality standards and provides the best possible experience. The new target completion date is October 7, 2024.

Next Steps

•   Finalize the interactive elements and user flows in the prototype
•   Continue refining the design based on feedback
•   Prepare for the next phase of development

Other Progress:

Related but not promised in the initial documentation includes the MVP for Audiobox in React code. We've successfully recreated the music player experience on the frontend with some experimentation for subscription payment options through traditional on-ramps such as Stripe.
