3 years ago We started a social media campaign to make Stacks listed on BTCTurk, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in Turkey.
How much interaction did you get on Twitter and how much of an influential impact?
Too many tweets were sent for Stacks to be listed on BTCTurk. The limit for analysis sites is 500, but I think we have more than 500 tweets for support. It is our community's biggest activity.
We continue to raise awareness for user-owned internet.

1. What about Stacks are you most excited about? Please be specific. (For example, you could be excited about “recruiting more Stackers” or “bringing DeFi to Bitcoin”.) Stacks should rank higher in DefiPulse as it is the project that builds Defi with the security of the Bitcoin blockchain. Our point is helping Stacks to the getting top of this list by getting more Stackers from Turkey. We’ll create our own Stacking pool and we’re aiming to getting stack 3 million Stacks. We want to reach the most creative and qualified Turkish developers to create decentralized useful applications on dApps, DEx, NFTs, and more DeFi derivatives as well. We started a communication for Stacks to be listed on Turkish cryptocurrency exchanges. We believe more listing provides more liquidity and awareness.
Why are you so excited about this? How do you think it can help your community? Turkey leads cryptocurrency ownership in Europe at 1 and about one out of every five people in Turkey has invested in cryptocurrency, according to research by the Paris-based statistics firm Ipsos for the Netherlands-based ING Group. We believe that the recognition of Stacks by a nation that is such an admirer of cryptocurrencies will increase the demand of Stacks wildly. The inflation rate of Turkish Lira higher than 15% every year. That's the main reason why Turkey is leading cryptocurrency ownership in Europe. There is a great opportunity to leading this financial freedom movement for Stacks in Turkey!
What do you think is the single most effective thing you can do to bring Stacks to your community? First step is to raise awareness for user-owned internet. Explaining the necessity of the user-owned internet is key. For this, we take care to advertise by using educational contents. We will have representatives in all major cities of Turkey. We will make sure that Stacks are promoted on the field through our representatives. Localization is key in our second step. We will also get the attention of our community by promoting with major influencers (Kripto Sozluk, Kripto Emre, Binance Turkey). We will realize this strategy by introducing Stacks by people that Turkish people trust and love.
What are your goals for your Stacks Chapter for the next 3 months? 6 months? 1 year?
Stacks Turkey is the biggest and most active community in Stacks Ecosystem. We aim to be the biggest cryptocurrency community in Turkey with tens of thousands of real members. We aim to increase the total value of Stacked Stacks by Turkish investors to tens of millions dollars.
