1 year ago Hi @rykershadow thank you for the application, but we are going to pass on this for a grant. We feel, while a very cool idea, it is more aligned with the sort of project that should first go through the Web3 Startup Lab. I sent your application to Albert, the Director of the program.
I would encourage you to go thru the program and then determine which parts of your project align with the current priorities of the grant program - here - and have not yet been funded via grants (token gating for instance has already been funded, so we would shy away from paying for that work again).

GRANT MISSION, IMPACT, RISKS & REFERENCE
Grant Mission: The Galactic Mining Club aims to create a constant inflow of new liquidity into the ecosystem and become a leader in producing new NFT technology that makes cutting-edge ways to utilize NFTS. By bridging real-world money-producing assets to the blockchain, backed by NFTs we can create a reliable and sustainable flow of liquidity into the ecosystem. The Galactic Mining Club builds, operates, and custom-tunes mining equipment that validates transactions on the blockchain. In return, we are rewarded with cryptocurrency. The goal is to create an ever-expanding system that is highly efficient. The club will use green technology to power all hardware, this will significantly decrease any overhead that comes from operating mining rigs—starting with solar and adding other sources such as wind, hydro, and natural gas to the operation as it expands and requires a larger energy source. Our mining experts will custom tune and implement firmware that increases hash rate, efficiency, and profitably of the equipment. A percentage of the rewards will be used to increase the number of mining rigs on a consistent basis, therefore increasing the APY as the project grows. The supply of NFTs will be capped at 5,000 and with this system APYs will NEVER be diminished by new users. In the case of new NFT collections, current NFT APYs will not be diluted. Staking APYs will closely follow the rate of mining rewards ensuring as long as the underlying token is being used or traded; we will produce a reliable source of income from that token’s ecosystem for staking APYs.
Grant Impact: our treasury, overall ecosystem TVL, and eventually real time TPS
Grant Risks: we have dedicated our lives to this project. and we need an ecosystem equally dedicated to what we are building and fighting for. we have a strong community behind us, as we were originally building on terra Luna before the depeg crash we have since decided to migrate our community to a safer home.
