GRANT MISSION, IMPACT, RISKS & REFERENCE

Grant Mission:         We aim to build Stacks community to accelerate the knowledge, adoption, innovation and application of Stacks in Ghana, in order to boost Ghana and Africa’s blockchain technology.

WE PURSUE OUR MISSION THROUGH THE FOLLOWING

Education We conduct Stacks development training events, where Stacks smart contract development frameworks are showcased and explored together with the participants.

Events The Community will regularly organize meetups and events at schools, vocational training centres and/or universities to educate the participants on blockchain technology & Stacks

Community We seek to build Stacks Ghana community of blockchain/DeFi enthusiasts, users, developers and promoters

Partnerships/Promotions We collaborate with and support other companies or other organizations pursuing similar interests.

Building bridges with communities The community leads to participate in local tech events to engage with the local tech communities and hold discussions with them on how Stacks can be adopted and used to solve problems in the community.

Hackathon / Fellowships We also organise hackathons to spark innovation and enable individuals and teams to build projects on Stacks.

Grant Impact:               All community channels fully functional Partnership with other web3/blockchain communities Attend and speak at third party events across Africa(online and in-person) First Stacks Ghana in-person Event. Medium page: at least three educational contents Stacks Ghana website

Grant Risks:                          No known risk. The team has great experience building Community in the Africa web3 space.

This is the correct final deliverables and Milestones for the proposal milestone 1: Start stacks Ghana community channels(Twitter, TikTok, telegram, medium) Write 3 educational content on medium. Attend and speak at third party events across Africa(online: AMA, Twitter spaces, zoom meetings, etc)

milestone 2 : In-person community event. 1/month for three months Stacks Ghana Community website: Partnership with other web3/blockchain communities ( https://defiafrica.net/, https://www.web3ladies.com/, https://fintechgh.com/index.html and more )

Thank you for the proposal, however we we have decided to deny your application. For the next several quarters we are laser focused on conserving funding for efforts that have clear alignment with the current priorities of the grants program noted here - specifically sBTC.

I would suggest reaching out to Adam Haun, the Community Lead at the Stacks Foundation ( adam at stacks dot org) - he may be able to provide you with some additional suggestions on how Stacks can support your efforts at this time.
