May I also add "Review Stacksgov grant proposal draft" as an agenda item? :)

whoabuddy commented 3 years ago

Posting a quick idea here: when reviewing how to set up the agenda with Juliet, I realized that copying/pasting the issue references can add up to quite a bit of work, especially as the list gets longer. Remembering what's open, what's closed, and where things are at requires a lot of back and forth review.

Maybe instead of trying to do that in the agenda, we can make better use of the tags on the issues, so that when reviewing "action items", for example, we just pull up the screen share of the repo with all items tagged mtg-action and go through it that way.

Then the agenda would be more evergreen:

  1. Standups
  2. Stacks Foundation Updates
  3. Action Items
  4. Discussion Items
  5. Additional Topics

With each linking back to the actual data in the repo versus a curated list. We can create a new tag for foundation-related issues like #65 such as mtg-stacks-foundation or similar.

My hope is this would simplify the process and make it easier to review all of the items, even if it's just a quick pass of "any updates? ok, moving on." Ideally, we want to get these items addressed and closed out!

@whoabuddy, I think this is a great idea. I saw how helpful the tags were for easy navigation.
