Identity Advocate in Residence #20

Closed friedger closed 10 months ago

friedger commented 2 years ago

What's your name/your team's name? Friedger Müffke

Best email on which to contact you? mail@friedger.de

Personal Statement While writing the SIP for Authentication Protocol it became clear that a lot of knowledge about identity on stacks is buried in code. I would like to change that. During the residency, I would like to be the point of contact for any questions about identity on stacks/bitcoin. I would create material for developers and users to use and understand profiles and authentication using their private keys. The audience would be stacks and bitcoin users and developers.

End Product

All this would be hosted in one place (to be defined) that is accessible and open for more contributors.

Hey Friedger, thanks for applying to be a Stacks Resident! The Foundation team is currently reviewing your application in more depth and will be getting back to you about next steps soon.

Hi @friedger

Apologies in the delayed response. I wanted to touch base with you and see if you are still interested in the Residency program. I believe you are heavily involved in some other projects now, but if you are still interested, please let me know and we can schedule an initial interview with you.

Best, Will

Great. Does 11am EST on Monday 3/21 work for you? Is there an email address I can send the invite to?

@friedger -

I am looking forward to our call on Monday. It will be nice to meet you in person and learn more about your goals with being a resident. Right now, our main concern is just making sure that your plate is not too full to take this on. When we meet if you could be prepared to help us understand what other projects you would be managing during your proposed residency and if you have any concerns about limited bandwidth for adding this undertaking to your schedule.

Talk to you soon!

Best, Will
