Thank you very much for your application to the Residency program. After careful consideration and review, we don't feel the Residency program is the best fit for this particular thread of research at this time. However, we will be opening up a call for applications for Critical Bounties (RFP-style grants) that will include an open submission field (i.e. submit an idea of your choosing) and this could be an ideal mechanism for you to pursue this work.

Personal Statement: We aim to revolutionize car rental services in Africa by creating a peer-to-peer platform that leverages blockchain technology to ensure transparency, security, and accessibility. Our team believes that decentralized solutions can address the challenges faced by traditional car rental models, empowering individuals to monetize their idle vehicles while providing affordable and convenient transportation options to users.
End Product: By the end of our residency, we plan to deliver a fully functional prototype of our peer-to-peer car rental platform, complete with user registration, vehicle listing, booking, and payment functionalities. Additionally, we will provide documentation outlining the technical architecture, integration with blockchain technology, and plans for scalability and sustainability.
