Null vs empty string #8

CO_Wetlands_West, column qaqc_code is NULL in the SHP file, but an empty string in geoparquet. Check whether this can be translated 1:1...

Hmm, pyshp gives me an empty string but QGIS shows it as NULL. So not sure I can do anything about it...

https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000004294 Looks like empty string is correct and I assume QGIS shows empty strings as null. I also checked the pyshp implementation and what get's in ist just an empty string (or more precisely a string with whitespaces).
