Issues with EM-506 GPS #949

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Buy an EM-506 gps
2. Connect it on GPS port
3. Wait for a fix

With previous gps version em406 ardupilot is working properly (3D-Fix) but now 
we only have a 2D-Fix and no possibility to use loiter, RTL,...

Ardupilot 1.0.3

Note : It looks like it's the binary output of the gps that is not the same 
than the EM-406
