Consider merging your efforts into maps-gl? #1

Hi! I'm from Ceres Imaging (https://ceresimaging.net), another company basing our open source maps stack on mapboxgl. We also use mapbox-gl heavily, and need it to have an open source future. We decided not to make a fork inside our company, but instead to open up an organization that we use to join together:

I'm happy to add you as an owner (I just invited you as an owner!), we're NOT trying to drive development, but think its important to avoid early fragmentation.

We are avoiding using the word "mapbox" in our project name, for obvious reasons.
