https://dev.stadtnavi.eu/ as of now : 28.5.2021 20:05 MESZ As displayed some buses in Herrenberg offer realtime location tracking and occupancy indicator. That is great! 👍 But the bus icon and detail screen do not display any specific bus line and route information. Without such information display is almost use less. What be good to indicate information like: bus nr or bus line and also indicate with direction of the route the bus is currently on. Would be nice to indicate the next bus stop and ETA. On the example screenshot two busses are close to eachother but you can't figure out which bus is yours.

Hi @MartinH-open , thanks for your feedback. We are already working on this feature. As the PAX counters/GPS sensors are attached to vehicles, which service different routes, this involves trip matching. We plan to have this information added by end of June.

Thanks for commenting. Not sure what digital infrastructure is available in buses. But somehow vehicles (bus) should carry some "id tag" (Wifi id, BT id, ..) to allow bus (and trip) identification with sensors nearby (like the PAX counters) and for customers wait for their specific bus (eg. blind customers would receive notification (from their smartphone) that their bus is approaching the bus stop now). Today buses carry the trip/route information ("line 123 to Herrenberg") on a display at the front/side of the vehicle for customers to read from outside. By knowing the vehicles ID (to be transferred by the PAX sensor) and knowing the current vehicle ID assignment for the current bus route (from the transport operator from the vehicle directly) the route/trip specific information could be displayed in StadtNavi.
