@uncleJim21 in case it helps here is my Mac implementation of the messages status restore. I'm basically calling the getTags new binding when loading messages in a chat for the first time and when loading more items (when scrolling to top). I'm filtering confirmed messages (not received or failed), getting the tags from them and passing those to the new binding. Then updating the messages to the right status on response
