Broken with p5.js 1.9.2 onwards

Details about the bug:

• p5.js version: 1.9.2 including and upwards
• Device Name: MacOS
• Web browser and version: chrome with Immersive Web Emulator and Oculus Quest 3

Initially I thought that it was related to the camera change as mentioned in #218, but that was only included in 0.1.10. Need to investigate, will start with #218, as it might have introduced other changes.
