HTTPS on Map Stack #101

Map Stack URLs are http, not https. But more and more websites are requiring https.

In particular lots of people are using Map Stack URLs in ArcGIS Online. Some examples:

However, soon ESRI is going to eliminate all instances of http URLs on ArcGIS Online: https://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2017/06/06/web-security-and-story-maps/

Even though the direct use of Map Stack tile URLs is an unsupported feature, we should investigate the feasibility of adding https to Map Stack.

Any news on this? I was hoping to start creating some for my ArcGIS Online story maps.
