m2i or alternative I can run on my machine? #48

Hey there! I'm interested in generating some maps bigger than 2000x2000 like I can at http://maps.stamen.com/m2i/, for my own personal use. Is there a way for me to do this? I can't find m2i in the source here.

mapstitch is what we use under the hood, so you might have some luck with that.
