Unfortunately, neither of the Canada EEZ files I have include Canada's cleams in the Beaufort Sea or the Dixon Entrance. Nor does Natural Earth have this data. Need to find another source.
The Canadian planning areas do show the Canadian claims, so I'll be able to use those to assemble the disputed areas for the basemap:
Maybe not exactly... but close enough. via http://blog.geogarage.com/2012/12/canadas-territorial-disputes.html
I like these for now.
Something for @katewatkins to keep in mind, too.
There is a border dispute in the arctic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaufort_Sea#Border_dispute
And one at the Southeast end of Alaska: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixon_Entrance
Do we need to show the border in the Great Lakes? Yes, probably, for consistency.
Also, we need to keep in mind the bit of ocean that is part of France around St. Pierre and Miquelon, but this is already included on my recent basemaps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Pierre_and_Miquelon
